Course Overview

Pancreatic anatomy and physiology is a fundamental part of preparing for an ERCP procedure. This back to basics course will review anatomy and physiology and how it relates to visualization on fluoroscopic images and the presentation of Acute Pancreatitis.

Learning Objective

  • Review the pancreatic anatomy and physiology relevant to ERCP
  • Discuss the anatomical visualization via fluoroscopy
  • Define Acute Pancreatitis
  • Review the clinical signs and symptoms of Acute Pancreatitis
