203: Endoscopic Resection (ER)

Course Overview

This course will review the steps involved in performing Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR) and Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD) as well as the clinical indications and applications of these procedures.

  • List clinical indications for endoscopic resection
  • Discuss advantages and complications of endoscopic resection
  • Identify relevant GI anatomy and tumor staging
  • Describe common methodology utilized in endoscopic resection procedures
