Course Overview

This course is a continuation of the Video Setup and Support (#9-100) course. This course will help the participants gain insight into the circuitry and functionality of EVIS and Exera electronic equipment and provide them with in-depth troubleshooting techniques for the 160 and 180 series light sources and video processors.

Learning Objective

  • Learn to troubleshoot the most common problems associated with the EVIS and Exera equipment.
  • Learn troubleshooting techniques to quickly pinpoint problems between mis-cabling, user error, or equipment malfunction.
  • Learn how to repair/replace failed components.
  • Discuss the procedure for ordering parts.
  • Discuss the procedure for returning equipment for repair or requesting a site visit for service.
